Why we exist

We're a small team obsessed with the same problem you are: getting outdoors with the people and animals you love - and not paying for it later with a tick-borne illness that takes months or years to recover from.

The dominant tick repellents on shelves today are either harsh DEET-based formulas (effective but with real downsides), or weak "natural" sprays that don't actually work. We saw a third path: take the one plant-derived active that the CDC actually recommends for tick prevention - Oil of Lemon Eucalyptus (PMD) at 30% - and build a brand around it that doesn't apologise for being effective.

Two sprays. One mission.

BITEBACK Human uses 30% OLE/PMD, the only plant-based active on the CDC's recommended tick-prevention list. DEET-free. Plant-powered. Kid-safe (3+).

BITEBACK Pet uses a cedar oil + lemongrass + geraniol blend that's safe for both dogs and cats. No peppermint or citronella - both are toxic to felines. Veterinary-reviewed.
